After a night sailing on the Pacific Coast, Alejandro Irigoyen decided there and then that, at the age of 45, he would go around the world on a sailing boat. After learning everything required to succeed in such an endeavour, this Mexican voyager set sail from Acapulco, Mexico and has been travelling through the seven seas for the last two years. Onboard are his wife Bernadette Sánchez and their three children Alexa, Diego and Vital Irigoyen.

Moved by this family’s quest and our passion for the sea, we are incredibly proud to be a part of their exciting journey. We wanted to sail the world with them, and ALDIVI - the boat named after the three youngest members - now displays a Façonnable sail and will accompany the adventurous crew, known as “Soltando Amarras” on this unique voyage. Because at Façonnable, we believe that real stories are made by real people.
