The Stand Craft 166
If you have a tendency to miss your ‘super car’ aboard your luxury yacht, you may like to consider taking your car with you. The Stand Craft 166 superyacht comes equipped with its very own mega luxury sports car, snugly tucked inside the boat’s apt.
Intrigued? You should be, as the Stand Craft 166’s supplementary super car, which will wield a 620-horsepower V8 and can reach a top speed of 189 mph, hidden inside a garage, is not the only luxury feature, which makes this height of sophistication vessel stand out from other magnificent kings of the sea.
In addition, poised deep in the bowels of the magnificent boat hides a luxurious Jacuzzi, whilst each of the five stately rooms includes a 52-inch Bang & Olufsen TV with iPad controls.
Aesthetically the Stand Craft resembles a domineering gigantic transformer toy, with its many veiled levers and chambers effortlessly and futuristically opening, emerging many hidden and luxurious treasures. Another such treasure is a retractable fly bridge that hides away the yacht’s radar displays when the ship is not in use.
For an even greater ‘wow’ factor, the stand Craft 166’s exterior can be made out of unique Japanese Samurai tread leather, which is woven from a bullet-proof textile. This exceptional and bullet resistant upholstery can even be used to cover the interior of this extraordinary yacht.
The Stand Craft 166 not only uses two turbocharged V20 diesel engines, both outputting 4300KW, but also a Vericor TF50 gas turbine booster engine harvesting 4177KW of power.
The Stand Craft 166 supersedes the Stand Craft 122 superyacht, which was created through collaboration between Stand Craft and Gray Design to design yachts of world class quality, featuring “beauty, passion and performance”.
Considering the splendour and magnificence of this superyacht, Gray Design’s recent press release that its new dynamic vessel is “guaranteed to turn heads in the most well-appointed of marinas”, is just slightly understated.
