The Renaissance Antibes Juan-les-Pins – elegantly complimenting its location and design

Marriot Hotels are world-renowned for exuding class, quality and architectural brilliance, and no more so than the company’s latest project in the south of France.

Located at the Cote d’ Azur’s most glamorous and exclusive hotspot at Juan-les-Pins, the US hotel chain’s newest gem is categorized as being one of the hotel group’s Renaissance Hotels brand and has been named the Renaissance Antibes Juan-les-Pins.

The hotel, which was previously known as the Hotel Ambassadeur, is not due to open until early 2012, as it continues to undergo some major design alterations. The multi-million euro reconstruction will ensure the Renaissance Antibes Juan-les-Pins boasts the most exquisite of modern interiors, including being fitted out with natural driftwood floors, and for those guests not wanting to spend the day on the hotel’s own private sandy beach, a height of elegance and sophistication outdoor and indoor pool.

Situated between Nice and Cannes, “Les-Pins”, with its beaches made from fine-grained sand and lined with umbrella pine trees, its many casinos, nightclubs and designer boutiques, ensures the town remains a popular destination with the international jet-set. One of the most exclusive ‘hot spots’ within this heady and elegant town, is the famous La Pinede Gould, the location of the annual international “Jazz a Juan” jazz festival, which celebrated its 50th anniversary last year. The Renaissance Anibes Juan-les- Pins is located a stone’s throw from this exceedingly exclusive ‘hot spot’, meaning its location is therefore as significant and momentous as the hotel’s design.

Talking of Marriot’s excitement of its latest exclusive hotel, Amy McPherson, president and managing director for Marriott International in Europe said:

“We are thrilled to add this newest gem, so perfect for the destination, to the Renaissance Hotels collection.”

Marriott excels in constructing hotels that boast unique and spectacular designs. The Detriot Marriott at the Renaissance Centre is the tallest hotel in the Western Hemisphere.

In November 2010, Marriott announced its ambition to add over 600 hotel properties and double its portfolio of hotels in Europe by 2015. The Renaissance Antibes Juan-les-Pins is the second newly branded hotel in the south of France, alongside the JW Marriott Hotel Cannes, putting Marriott’s goals firmly within reach.
