The Monaco Yacht Show 2010

Posted by in Façonnable Inspirations | Comments Off

Immerse yourself in the lavish world of international luxury yachting in Port Hercules, Monaco. The event plays host to around 500 exhibitors who come from all different sectors of the yachting world, and attracted around 27400 visitors last year that were keen to discover this prestigious social event.

Preparing to welcome an estimated 28000 visitors this year, the show is a hub for exhibitors and sailing enthusiasts to network with yachting professionals and discover recently developed products and innovations in all luxury sailing sectors.

The calibre of the exhibitors is exceedingly high, with each one having to rely on gleaming references from the luxury yachting world to secure their posts. The experts are then expected to compete for the notorious Prix du Design, the ultimate yachting prize that rewards the most innovative and distinguished design every year.

Of course, there is more to it than ships and brokers. The laid-back nature of Monaco is very prominent within the walls of the show with various sources of leisure inside.

There’s the Champagne Bar, offering a selection of champagnes from the infamous French house of Lanson, and the Parvis Piscine restaurant that supplies visitors with indulgent canapés and pastries. Perhaps the most extravagant though is the Crystal Lounge. A collaboration with Baccarat, the leading crystal brand, provides an impeccably sophisticated refuge that both visitors and exhibitors can enjoy.

The Monaco Yacht Show runs from 22nd -25th September 2010 and is open between 10am and 6.30pm daily. To get an insight into the making of the show click here.
