This year’s ski season in the French Alps is set to be a good one with lots of fresh powdery snow predicted over the next few months. If you’re thinking of booking a last minute ski trip then you may want to consider one of these, incredibly indulgent French winter hideaways…
Bellevarde Lodge – Muscat, Val d’Isere
Situated on the Santon’s piste, this stone and timber chalet has all the features of a winter wonderland. It is built using the original timbers of an ancient, local dismantled farmhouse, and boasts an impressive grand open fireplace. The chalets are each named after a famous wine, such as Merlot and Chablis, and each one can house up to 12 guests. Each chalet features floor to ceiling glass windows for panoramic views, a terrace with a hot tub and is furnished with fine English furniture.

Aspen Lodge Penthouse Suite, Val d’Isere

All suites have balconies overlooking the spectacular Grand Rochette mountain, and a private lift to take you down to piste level.
