The Audi A7 Made Out of Paper
An almost life-size Audi has been constructed entirely out of paper to promote the new 2012 A7 model.
Graphic Design Artist, Taras Lesko made the replica using 285 pieces of paper printed with 750 model parts. Once the parts had printed, the pieces were then folded and glued together.
The whole process required a laser printer, 2 desktop cutting plotters, glue and an X-acto knife. It was designed and assembled using reference photography and original A7 blueprints from Germany.
The structure measures 4 ft x 2ft x 2ft and is extremely detailed, even down to the interior.
Lesko was commissioned by Audi of America to create a replica of the 2012 Audi A7 for their launch of the vehicle, and their display at the 2011 New York Auto Show.
