The ‘Sushisamba Cocktail Tree’ and other ‘conversation stimulating’ dinner party drinks accessories
A memorable dinner party usually involves stimulating conversation, heavenly cuisine, plenty of incessantly flowing top-notch champagne, all set within a relaxed yet atmospheric ambience. Although how to serve drinks to compliment such a highbrow dinner party can often be a bit of a concern.
An arboreal alcohol holder may be the answer to give your delicious dinner party’s drinks the style and sophistication they deserve. If fine wine, cocktails, sangria or champagne feature in your drinks menu, then the ‘Sushusamba Cocktail Tree’, is the prefect accessory to serve your drinks.
Designed by Avi Kendi from Metal Dimensions, the ‘Sushusamba Cocktail Tree’ is a handmade drinks hanger sprouting branches of forged steel with a satin lacquer. The ‘Sushusamba Cocktail Tree holds up to 12 glasses at once and makes for a unique conversation piece.
Another drink-related ‘conversation stimulator’ that you may find extremely helpful to ‘swing’ your dinner party into full swing, is the Upside Down Wine Glass set. Guests will be both captivated and amused when they arrive at the table to see a white and red glass of wine upside down. Although in reality the glasses are actually a vinegar and oil set.
Created by the Dutch design company Jansen + Co, the ‘Ming Oil & Vinegar Set’ literally turns the concept of traditional wine glasses upside down. While the oil and vinegar sits in the bowl of the glass, the stem reduces the flow to the right amount, making it easy to measure and pour.
Another accessory guaranteed to start the conversation, is the Glass Tank drinking vessel by Kouichi Okamoto. An inverted teardrop-shaped reservoir carry’s enough alcoholic tipple to last the evening – no matter how much of guzzling your guests enjoy! A combination of water and air pressure allow for just the right amount of wine to flow into the goblet built onto the side of this rather unique device, meaning one of the host’s jobs is immediately eliminated – refilling everyone’s glass!
