Stephanie Marin Introduces Nature into the Home

Posted by in Arts and Cultural Influences | Comments Off

Born in 1973 in Marseille, Stephanie Marin lives in Nice and since 2004, has been making a name for her unique ability to design indoor and outdoor furniture based on various elements of nature.

Stephanie creates a new collection of natural objects each year that relate to a specific concept and form made up of soft forms and simple lines that match each other and overlap to infinity.

There’s the soft and comfortable range of outdoor furniture that resembles giant pebbles, and a similar collection of indoor furniture that provide high quality and sensible furnishings. To add to the garden furniture family, Marin has designed a series of chairs that resemble giant raindrops. These light and portable chairs also contain lights to illuminate your evenings outside. There is also the decorative mobile, replicating clouds moving across the sky in a sheer material that filters light and creates shadows.

With her truly unique design philosophy, Stephanie’s creations are regarded as natural, nonconformist and playful, embracing a unique relationship with contemporary living space. The collections reject the idea of heavy and voluminous furniture and instead presents the concept of lightweight and mobile objects that serve as practical objects.

Her furniture is 100% produced in France, within her Nice workshop and her clients are Worldwide. Click here for more information.
