Polo Excursion in Argentina

Posted by Peter in Façonnable Inspirations | Comments Off

The 2,500 acre Estancia El Venado guest ranch in Argentina is offering visitors the opportunity to participate in an exclusive polo excursion.

The beautiful ranch owned by pro polo player Federico Cendoya was founded in the 1800s and is located 100 miles South of Buenos Aires. It has been passed down through four generations of the Cendoya family and fully embraces its Argentinean polo heritage.

Visitors can also enjoy Argentine Tango lessons taught by one of the highest ranking tango dancers in Buenos Aires, as well as culinary lessons on how to cook traditional Argentine cuisine. You can also relax by the pool, take a trip to the Rio Salado River to do some fishing, or wander around the ranch in search of its infamous collection of wild birds.

The excursion caters to a range of abilities, introducing the game to new players or allowing experienced players hone their skills. During morning sessions guests will work on horsemanship and swing mechanics, while the evenings offer a series of practice chukkers that focus on rules, game strategy and field positioning.
