Television manufacturers Ciil have developed a fully-sealed TV that allows viewers to watch their favourite TV shows and films from the great outdoors. The 1080p HD Flat Panel display, named “Ultraview”, is entirely waterproof and dustproof, enabling it to be installed outside. Whether you want to watch the football from your swimming pool, or even relax on the patio with a film, the entertainment world is now your oyster.

Ciil has ensured that the Ultraview is fully equipped to withstand any damaging elements from the outside. The screen is shatterproof, and it uses a unique heat technology to keep the TV cool in the heat, and warmer in the cold weather. This means that there are no vents, filters or fans that could allow liquids, dust or insects to damage the mechanisms inside the television. It also has a triple-protected body construction, including an aluminum body that resists any rust or corrosion. A chemical sealer is then applied to the aluminum and acts as a bonding agent for the paint. Lastly, an all-weather powder coating is electro statically applied and baked on.

The Ultraview screen is also able to adapt to any weather condition. It has an ambient light sensor that automatically adjusts the image contrast to the lighting conditions outside, even maintaining a sharp contrast in direct sunlight. There is also a sealed cable entry that protects the wires and sockets from water, ice or any elements it may be faced with.
