Posted by in Arts and Cultural Influences | Comments Off

Tactically positioned under canopies in the salons of Richelieu Workshop in the centre of the ‘art capital of the world’, the second edition of the Chic Dessin exhibition took place recently, infinitely enhancing the air of art, innovation and creativity that runs through the French capital’s veins.

From April 1 – April 3, 2011, Chic Dessin in Paris showcased a sensational selection of 25 international and French art galleries, demonstrating the concept of ‘design’ in all its entities.

Each of the galleries exhibited their unique vision of design, and in doing so, collectively the exhibition showcased some of the exceptional and exclusive art Paris has ever had the privilege of showcasing.

Chic Dessin has been described as being the ultimate ‘posh art fair’, and naturally an art fair possessing a reputation of such excellent quality and superiority, attracts only the most elite galleries from around the world.

Amongst those presenting at Chic Dessin 2011 was Gallery Minsky France, Art House Japan, Gallery Miomao Italy, Lise Curry Fine Art USA, MH Gallery Belgium, C’Art Projects France and Morocco, Gallery Talmart France and many other equally as prestigious galleries graced the Chic Dessin 2011 in early April.

For more information on this prestigious art fair, which, according to an art fans ‘tweet’ on Twitter, “looks really innovative, surprising and uplifting”, in a city that lives and breathes art visit the chic-today website.
