“Bringing the super car flavor to the water” – The ‘Ekranoyacht’ offers a new design concept to the booming super yacht industry.

An Australian designer has unveiled design plans for the Ekranoyacht, a 36.5 metre super yacht that will have the ability to fly four meters above the water at speeds of up to 400 kilometers an hour. Focusing on harnessing sustainable power, the futuristic vessel will be powered by hydrogen and will be able to tackle waves of up to 3.5 meters high.

The Ekranoyacht, which has been named and designed after a well-known super car from the Soviet Union, will be able to sleep up to six guests. Unlike more ‘conventional’ seafarers, the ultramodern yacht will be extremely light, roomy and airy, with a large open plan living room with huge windows to accommodate maximum natural light.
