The Graff Pink as we all come to know it saw bidders emerging from all corners of the earth to bid on this, possibly one of the most precious stones known to man. The stone smashed pre-auction estimates by almost 50 percent and set a new diamond and jewel auction world record.
The Graff Pink is an extraordinarily rare and exceedingly beautiful Fancy Intense Pink Emerald-Cut Diamond, which sold in auction in November for a staggering $46,158,674 at Sotheby’s Geneva.

It was understandable and somewhat predictable when a Lexus SC430 sports car on display in Taiwan, was decked out with more than 300,000 Swarovski crystals only to become known as the “Jewel of the Lexus”.
The name ‘Tata Motor Nano’ hardly invokes feelings of lavishness and opulence, although the days of dismissing the ‘cheapest car in the world’ as an economical and ‘sensible’ car, are about to be numbered, when its mundane exterior is bejeweled in head to toe gold.

Bright neon lights dazzling the night sky, illuminated buildings, streets and monuments add a stroke of glamour, excitement and adventure to a nocturnal urban landscape. Have you ever considered about the origins and evolution of ‘neon cities’, which we now expect in any town beckoning an after dark audience?
The name Joseph Urban may not be the most recognizable of names, and may only spring to the mind’s of the most knowledgeable of the history of art and design. But in the 1930s, the architect and interior designer was so notorious and celebrated that when he was dying of cancer in a New York hotel, he checked in under a different name to prevent stalkers and gossips from disturbing him on his deathbed.

The official Lavazza calandar is something of a tradition. For 19 years this historic Italian brand has produced a calendar with a famous photographer and this year it was the turn of Mark Seliger, the famous American celebrity photographer, who was asked to immortalise the essence of Italianess.
His concept was simple – ‘Falling in Love in Italy’.
