Take Cover: Façonnable and Italia Independent Hit the Polo Field

As high summer comes to the South of France, Façonnable is primed to soak up the sun in style. The luxury lifestyle brand is marking two special collections during a chic summer fete inside its Saint-Tropez boutique on June 21st, 2012.
The in-store event, held during the height of the city’s polo season in June, will celebrate the launch of its exclusive new collection of limited edition ‘tribute’ shades, produced in partnership with Italia Independent. The set of six aviators, a marriage of Italian design and French allure, features a striking colorful Façonnable-stripe motif along the frames with matching tinted lenses.
The second celebration speaks directly to the polo season, in full swing at the city’s exclusive Polo Club Saint-Tropez, located in the picturesque village of Gassin. The chic club attracts an international well-heeled set and its tournaments are always one of the summer’s most important social events.
To wit, Façonnable has designed a special polo shirt for one of the women’s teams that will hit the pitch during the Saint-Tropez Ladies’ Amateur Tournament, June 22-24, 2012. Crafted from sturdy cotton pique, the trim short-sleeve polo features two tones of blue with a graphic sash motif across the body and will be available for both men and women.
