The french riviera lifestyle brand proudly announces the opening
of its first boutiques in Santiago del Chile
Cote d’Azur, July 2012 - Façonnable’s haute French Riviera style crossed the ocean to conquer Chile with two new venues in the sprawling Costanera Center, a huge $300 million development site in Santiago that comprises of four towering skyscrapers.
It is inside the Costanera Center Mall, with over six floors, where Façonnable now has a 160 square meter boutique and a 31 square meter additional one that boast a new blueprint and proudly showcase the new collections, next to the most prestigious international brands.
“Making inroads in Chile is part of a commercial strategy aimed at strengthening markets that are particularly interesting and filled with potential for the expansion of the Façonnable brand. South America represents an important commercial territory for our brand and we are working to further consolidate our commercial partnerships” noted Moustapha el Solh, CEO of Faconnable.
“We are constantly looking for new exclusive brands able to captivate our clients. For us it is reason of pride to have Façonnable as a partner, well knowing Façonnable’s heritage, quality and more than 50 years of history. We are sure that the style and fashion that the men’s and women’s collections portray will meet the taste of our Chilean clientele,” said Jaime Soler, Chief Executive Officer of Censosud Department Stores.
Inaugurated in June, the tallest tower of the complex is the Gran Torre Santiago, designed by architect César Pelli that soars for 300 meters making it the tallest building in South America and second tallest in the Southern Hemisphere. Packs of people crammed the new site the week after its opening, beating any other mall in affluence thanks to intense traffic, exceeding even the rosiest week of Christmas season. The tower also houses two hypermarkets a gym, a cinema, and the first Hard Rock Cafe in the country.
