Partner of the Swing Ton Handicap Competition

Façonnable supports first edition of golf competition for the disabled on the French Riviera

Façonnable was a partner in the first edition of “Swing Ton Handicap,” a golf competition that took place on Oct. 20-21 at the golf of the Grande Bastide in Châteauneuf-de-Grasse, in the South of France.

The tournament regrouped about 20 teams that competed against one another in a game of “Scramble.” Each team had four players: a handigolfer, an event partnership member, a member of the golf of the Grande Bastide and a student. This formula privileged collaboration, team work, mutual aid, creating a veritable performance that swept away all types of handicap.

Organized by the Provence-Alpes-Cote-D’Azur Golf League and the Institut d’Administration des Entreprises of Nice – the business school of the university of Nice – via its department of Sports Business, the competition’s objective was to also promote Handigolf in the Provence-Alpes-Cote-Azur region with a demonstration that took place from 2.00pm-4.00pm on the first day and was viewed by students of the Tour d’Opio primary school.

On Friday, all the players were given a free logoed ball marker before the shotgun departure. All participants regrouped before a lunch, followed by a “Clinic,” or a large demonstration of handigolfers scheduled before the awards ceremony.

After four editions held in Lille, in the north of France, Façonnable was pleased to support this first initiative on the French Riviera. For the occasion, the organizers wore the colors of the brand, the course was personalized and a pretty set of trendy accessories was handed out during the prize giving ceremony.
