Façonnable’s Newport Harbor Event
A GLAMOROUS MARINE INSPIRED ATMOSPHERE
Saturday, October 22, 2011 – It was certainly a memorable and inspiring evening for guests who joined Façonnable on October 22 at the Balboa Peninsula to fete the 25th anniversary of the Newport Harbor Nautical Museum, whose dedication to preserving and promoting maritime heritage is outstanding.
For the charitable occasion, Façonnable joined forces with ExploreOcean, an organization backed by Sir Richard Branson of Virgin Atlantic, who entertained and thanked guests via a short video filmed on a sail boat, ready to ride the seas in search of white sharks.
Part of the festivities welcomed the new design of the Newport Nautical Museum, including new rides and educational exhibits.
Façonnable was the exclusive brand, upping the fashion quotient with a Fall-Winter 2011 fashion show viewed by over 400 guests, who also dined al fresco at neatly-laid tables covered with elegant white and blue linens.
A gaggle of male and female models showed off 24 Façonnable looks parading down a makeshift runway that framed water tanks – totally in line with the aquatic theme of the evening.
