Façonnable gets unzipped for the launch of its new brand, Façonnable Jeans

Top fashion editors descended on the Façonnable Jeans showroom in New York City to toast the presentation of our newest brand, Façonnable Jeans. Over champagne and canapés, fashion’s finest, including today’s top style bloggers, got a sneak peek of fall’s newest arrival.

Like the name implies, denim is certainly part of the Jeans collection, but in the downtown lineup of smart luxury basics you’ll find more than just beautifully constructed five-pockets.

Drawing on 50 years of tailoring expertise, Façonnable’s design team applied the same rigorous production values to items destined for time away from the office. From patchwork cotton shirts to Japanese chambray, Jeans is a collection that feels as good as it looks.

Inspired by the relaxed lifestyle of the Côte d’Azur, Jeans features refined stitching, superb fibers and distinguished fabrics. When it comes to denim, pre-washing and hand finishing guarantee a soft touch and a unique patina.

Then there’s the remainder of the collection where the eye of the tailor reveals itself through the exacting cuts and striking French silhouette of every single garment. And while it may be called Jeans, don’t be fooled: the collection encompasses much, much more.  The debut outing offers sporty tweed blazers, khakis, washed cotton polos and T-shirts, leather blousons along with easy going accessories, such as suede brogues, canvas bags, baseball caps, woven belts, cashmere scarves, cotton pocket squares and even handmade ties. Everything you need for a weekend away — in upstate New York or the South of France.
