Façonnable Goes Riding in Monaco
Participating to the Longines Pro Am Cup Competition in Style
“As famous as Formula One is to motor-racing enthusiasts, the GCT is well-known to horse lovers.” Thus mused Charlotte Casiraghi during the opening speech of the global 2013 Champions Tour of Monaco, a high-profile show jumping competition.
Just like the beautiful blue-blooded heir was especially proud of competing on her home turf in the past years, Façonnable was extremely pleased to participate in the 2013 Longines Pro Am Cup Competition, by sponsoring one of the 20 Pro-Am teams in the line-up, each one including a professional and an amateur rider.
Competing for the Façonnable Team were Frenchman Michel Robert, one of the greatest riders of his generation with a 30-year experience and the famous Flore Picasso, regularly ranked in International competitions, also owner of the beautiful Centre Équestre d’Argeville, located in the South of France.
Strategically peppered around the track and on the VIP lodges, the Façonnable billboards accompanied the riders as they soared over the obstacles.
The Pro-Am event presenting the Façonnable team was the main feature for the eve of June 28, followed by a cocktail and dinner for the Award Ceremony, under the patronage of HSH Prince Albert of Monaco for a very select upper crust crowd.
Winners of the Longines Pro Am competition were Mark McAuley and Maddalena Valenzano Menada.
